The P.A.T.H. (Pursuit of Achievement, Transitional Housing), a Christian centered home, provides young females aging out of foster care in making the decisions that will shape their lives, increase their opportunities for economic success and secure lifelong connections that assist them in transitioning from the child welfare system into healthy and meaningful adulthood.

Currently, Foster Club (http://states.fosterclub.com/louisiana) reports that roughly 5,000 Louisiana children are currently in the child welfare system – foster care. Almost 40% of those are between the ages of 13 and 18.
